JEPN has been regularly hosting online meetings with partner universities, but on April 18, 2023, its first in-person meeting was held at International Christian University.
Representatives from 16 universities gathered to share case studies and join workshops. Aki Takada from the Japan ICU Foundation gave a presentation on the Global Task Force for Education Pathways, and. Norimasa Orii from Pathways Japan spoke about the importance of education pathways and compliance with minimum standards.
University representatives from both the Kanto and Kansai areas shared insights, lessons, and challenges related to the acceptance of Ukrainian students, making it a meaningful event.
JEPN will continue to hold in-person and online meetings regularly to further the development of education pathways in Japan.
